Armed Forces Trauma Training (AFATT)
Madison County, MS (GTI). GTI announced today an advanced trauma training course aimed at armed forces personnel. The first of its kind in the Southeastern U.S., the course offers an intense curricula of simulation, war-time skills and live-fire operational exercises. The Armed Forces Advanced Trauma Training Course (AFATT) integrates advanced didactic training with bioskills labs using cadaveric tissue. The 10,000 square foot simulations lab offers cadaver anatomy labs with kinetic treatment training many troops have never experienced.
The 10-day course couples live helicopter, hi-fidelity sound and smells as the facility metamorphizes into a real-world battefield experience for true stress innoculation. Combat-veteran faculty provide real-world experience for an unmatched quality educational experience.
