Governor Bryant tours GTI during MedSouth Critical Care Flight Course

MADISON COUNTY, MS. (GTI) MedSouth, a nationally renowned EMS training and equipment provider, hosted its most recent C4 (Critical Care Cadaver Course) and Heli-lab at GTI laboraties last month. With over 40 critical care flight paramedics and nurses, the event was one of the largest yet, held at the newly opened training facility.
Flight professionals from four states endured a rigourous 3-day didactic, simulations and live-fire operational experience that is unmatched anywhere in the country. The majority of students participated in the course in preparation for board examinations in Critical Care Flight Nurse (CFRN) and Critical Care Flight Paramedic (FP-C). Many students who have struggled with these exams in the past, have successfully completed national certification following participation in the C4 Course.
Governor Phil Bryant toured the facility and discussed the innovative and cutting-edge training opportunties with news media from local TV stations and the MS Air National Guard public affairs. Keith Carter, President and Owner of MedSouth toured the governor throught airway, procedural stations and cadaver labs. The tour was capped off by a live-helicopter flyover GTI to culminate a robust and dynamic training course unmatched in anywhere in the country.
